Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation in Canada. This day is to honor First Nations, Inuit and Métis lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities, and to ensure the public commemoration of their history and the lasting impacts of residential schools.
Superheat would like to acknowledge and recognize the ongoing trauma caused by residential schools and remember those who were lost, survivors, and their families. We also encourage everyone to wear an orange shirt today in support of Orange Shirt Day. Every child matters.
