Area Manager

Brian Ong joined Superheat in 2011 as a Field Technician and through mentorship and dedication has become a Unit Supervisor, Project Manager, and is currently working as a Site Manager out of New Lenox, IL, USA. When asked what attracted him to a career with Superheat he said, “The opportunity to explore a trade I could excel at and that would lead me to future career opportunities.” Brian’s favorite thing about working with Superheat is the environment and his coworkers. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf.

PMO Manager & Corporate Process Improvement

Mel Wilken joined Superheat in 2011 as a Panel Operator and through much dedication has worked her way up to become a Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Project Data Supervisor, and is currently working as a PMO Manager and Corporate Process Improvement person out of Kincardine, Ontario, CAN. When asked what attracted her to a career with Superheat she said “I had many friends working at Superheat that raved about the fast-paced work environment and the ability to grow and develop their careers. I decided that was a team I wanted to be part of.” Mel’s favorite aspects about Superheat are the constant drive for improvement and commitment to being the best in the industry. She also noted she loves working with many talented individuals and contributing to the growth and technological advancements of the company. When Mel isn’t at work, she loves spending time with her daughter and dog, volunteering, coaching, exploring the outdoors, playing guitar, and writing short stories.

Carlos Gomez

Senior Software Engineer

Carlos started working for a previous sub group of Superheat in March 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer and now leads the team that develops and maintains the Software that runs heat treatment rigs, a portion of the SAM, field programmers, and the production test equipment that is used to test and calibrate equipment.
Carlos has over 30 years of software development experience across both product and services sectors in Spain & the UK, so he brings a wide range of knowledge to solutions we develop.

Outside of work Carlos enjoys watching rugby and traveling. He visited Japan during the last world cup and is already set to visit France to catch some of the Rugby World cup.

Project Manager

Tom Holmes joined Superheat in 2012 and is a Project Manager out of our England, UK office. When asked what attracted him to a career with Superheat, he said the opportunity to make a better life for him and his family. His favorite thing about working with us is traveling to different worksites and meeting new people. When Tom isn’t at work he loves going on long walks with his family and keeping fit in the gym.

Angela Martin

Business Development Manager

Angela Martin joined us all the way back in 2008 as a Business Development Manager in our USA Central Region. She was looking for a career change that would allow her to be in a more regional position as opposed to something stationary. Her favorite thing about working with Superheat is the Team around her – everyone is greatly supportive which allows her to excel in what she does. When Angela isn’t working, she loves to travel, hike, boat, hunt, and fish – essentially anything active in the outdoors!

Shift Supervisor

Matt Ropp joined Superheat in 2009 as a Panel Operator and has advanced his career to become a Shift Supervisor out of our Kincardine, Ontario location. When asked what made him want to work with Superheat he said, “One of my good friends was working for the company and said it was a great place to work with departments full of good people.” His favorite aspect of working with Superheat is the people in his department as they make coming to work an enjoyable environment. He also enjoys being able to do shift work because it gives him a lot of freedom during the weeks, all while maintaining a great work-life balance. Matt is a sports enthusiast and when he isn’t at work he enjoys watching and playing sports, especially football. He also loves spending time at his cottage during the summers.
