We take pride in fostering a safety culture involving every team member in our daily operations. Our SWAT (Safe Work Action Team) initiative and Human Performance Program empower employees to actively engage in safety protocols.
Through SWAT, our employees conduct vigilant observations of their peers and surroundings to identify potential risks and report any safety concerns. This collective effort reinforces a safety-first mindset that benefits us all.
Today, we extend congratulations to Nathan Bialkoski, Project Manager – Augusta, GA, and Steven Munoz, Field Technician – Washington, our SWAT winners for the months of June and August 2023. Their dedication to safety is commendable and serves as an inspiring example.
Nathan observed a crane making multiple skid pan lifts without using a barricade or spotter. He approached the rigger and asked them to barricade the area as multiple crafts were working underneath. Undoubtedly, Nathan prevented what could have been a terrible safety risk.
Steven noticed a confined space permit was issued without a proper job walk with the client’s Safety and Operations group. He brought this to the attention of the appropriate personnel and prevented what could have been several unforeseen risks.
We also want to express our thanks to everyone else who submitted SWAT cards in the past months. Your unwavering dedication to minimizing risks on the job site through safe work practices is truly commendable. Together, we foster a safer work environment for all.
