We would like to take this opportunity to highlight Richard Cuthill who is retiring after 40 years of service. Having joined FGH Control in Letchworth Garden City in 1979, he started as a Panel Wireman for 5 years before later becoming an Instrument Tester until 1988. He then ran the Service Desk with a small team covering both in-house and on-site repairs & maintenance for the next 23 years until 2011.
Since 2011, and as a part of Superheat, Richard has worked as a Test, Repair and Calibration Technician on various technological advancements and equipment ––he has truly been involved with all advancements in tech used throughout service operations.
Richard has an incredible wealth of experience and product knowledge that has been vital in our efficient equipment repairs and turnarounds. He admits that his favorite part about working for Superheat has been the variety of projects and equipment that he’s worked with. He also admires the fantastic colleagues he’s worked alongside for so long.
In retirement, Richard wants to write a novel. He believes, “everyone has at least one book in them”, and hopes his is a good one. He’s currently writing short stories to warm up and enjoys doing DIYs & walking the family dog. Richard’s wife is also looking forward to traveling and has New Zealand and Canada on the list of places to visit. He might even pop by Superheat’s Corporate Office in Kincardine!
Superheat wants to thank you for all your contributions over the last 40 years, Richard – we wish you the very best in your well-deserved retirement!
