As we transition into Summer, we would like to recognize the exciting accomplishments Superheat has achieved this past season, by acknowledging the employees that worked at the Chevron El Segundo Refinery in California.
Superheat received the Safety Excellence Award from Chevron El Segundo Refinery for the third year in a row! The Gold Star Award is presented to the contractor who has successfully completed work on-site without any lost time or recordable injuries in 2017. Chevron acknowledged Superheat for our commitment to incident and injury-free work. Craig Topping, Regional Manager for Southern California and Larry Coots, Western US HSE Representative received the award on behalf of Superheat.
Chevron also recognized Superheat’s ability to improve quality and reduce costs during their 1Q2018 FCC/GSS turnaround, submitting an exceptional contractor report for overall performance. In this report, they scored Superheat as “Excellent” in all four major categories: Safety/Environmental, Quality of Work, Performance/Cost Efficiency, and Overall Performance.
“Work was efficiently executed & supervision did a great job communicating status” – was one of the supporting comments provided by Chevron. Furthermore stating, “Quality was well above standard. Predictably good.”
Congratulations and great work to all employees involved! #AdvancingHeatTreatment
