In celebrating 20 years of business Superheat wishes to express their sincerest appreciation to employees, partners, and clients for their loyal support. Superheat attributes their impressive 20-year lineage of growth to the resilient efforts of the founding partners and all the dedicated individuals that understand the vision of being the best in class heat treatment industrial service provider in the world.

As quality parameters and safety requirements dramatically evolved in the late 1990’s the founders at Superheat felt the traditional on-site heat treatment approach didn’t appropriately fulfill quality and safety needs in a timely cost-efficient manner. Therefore in 2000 Superheat was born on the premise that innovation, specifically patented remote monitoring technology, could effectively meet and exceed the heightened demands of the premier oil, gas & chemical refinement and power producers. CEO Norm MacArthur and President Miles Brown Sr explain, “Our vision at Superheat is to remain the industry’s leading on-site heat treatment service provider. We strive to achieve our goal by committing to our company values and by continuing to expand our quality driven research and development commitments.”
To ensure resources and logistics align with 20 years of strategic growth Superheat now operates out of a staggering 30+ offices throughout North America and the United Kingdom – employing over 600 incredibly engaged staff that are committed to our vision of excellence. Sundip Bajaj CFO/COO notes, “Superheat continues to grow, year over year at a staggering double-digit pace, through organic and structured initiatives. A key driver for Superheat is the investment in world-class systems and technology which has optimized the customer experience and lead to a culture of success”. Superheat’s patented business model is centralized within their SmartCenter™ which provides engineering, remote heat cycle monitoring services and quality management to field staff. Continued investment within this department, company equipment and personnel have advanced heat treatment and cemented their position as a best in class service provider.

Chris Brown VP Midwest US Region reflects, “We have certainly come a long way”, recall a humbling beginning at Chicago headquarters as desks were scarce and the only office phone on opening day was taken from his living room that morning. Ron Sayle VP EHS & Quality alludes to a similar narrative, “In my 33 years in the industry I am confident in saying Superheat is the most innovative and forward-thinking on-site heat treatment provider, taking the traditional consoles & strip chart recorders and revolutionizing this concept into an entirely digital control and managed platform”.
Moving forward Superheat looks to maintain a rooted presence in the refinery, petrochemical, utility and nuclear markets, solidifying an increased number of master service agreements. Their rapidly expanding customer base includes the largest international recognizable brands such as Shell, Chevron, Marathon, Suncor, and Valero just to name a few. “I’m tremendously excited where we are focusing our innovations as we progress”, says Phil Tetzlaff VP of Western Canada. Superheat has a multitude of products currently in beta testing that align with evolving consumer & industry trends. Such as the integration of an app-based data mining software that quantifies key data points for all stakeholders within the project scope and expanding the limits of remotely operated equipment. Superheat believes these modernizations will have a significant impact on the way in which on-site heat treatment is conducted and managed in the years to come.
