At Superheat, safety is more than a priority—it’s a core value. Our SWAT (Safe Work Action Team) program exemplifies this safety-first mindset. Superheat team members proactively observe peers and surroundings to identify and mitigate potential risks, embodying a culture where everyone is empowered to uphold and enhance our safety standards through the SWAT and Human Performance Programs.
We are thrilled to recognize the exceptional contributions of our recent SWAT winners: LC Williams, Unit Supervisor from Houston, TX; Chris Wolfe, Field Technician from Augusta, GA; and Jimmy Peters, Area Manager from Ferndale, WA. Their unwavering commitment to safety sets a high standard for us all.
LC noticed a damaged fire hydrant hose spraying water onto multiple extension cords. To minimize the risk of injuries, LC halted nearby workers and rerouted the cables, keeping them safely out of the water. He also alerted the appropriate site personnel regarding the leak.
Chris observed a fire extinguisher obscured by on-site equipment, making it difficult to access in an emergency. He quickly relocated the extinguisher to an easily accessible area, ensuring readiness.
Jimmy found some decommissioned MagneMats during an equipment inspection. To avert any potential use of these assets, he appropriately tagged and removed them and replaced them with clean MagneMats for ongoing use on the project.
Thank you, LC, Chris, and Jimmy, for your unwavering dedication to safety on the job site! And a big thank you to everyone who has submitted SWAT cards in the past months—together, we’re fostering a safer work environment for all.
