At Superheat, safety remains one of our core principles. Our SWAT (Safe Work Action Team) initiative highlights our team’s proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential risks, reinforcing a solid safety culture through both the SWAT and Human Performance Programs.
We’re excited to recognize some of our recent SWAT winners: Kevin Ballard and Adrian Michalewicz, Field Technicians from Chicago, IL, and Chad Murray, Field Technician from Baton Rouge, LA. Their dedication to safety sets an excellent example for everyone!
Kevin was working on scaffolding when he observed nubs protruding from the grating that could have caused a trip, fall, or injury. He alerted the CA, which managed the nubs’ covering, reducing the risk hazard for site personnel.
While contractors welded on a live gas line, Adrian noticed the first pass had cracked. He stopped the subsequent work until the crack was amended, and the job could continue without hazard to the working area.
Chad noticed a worker about to walk underneath a suspended load. He alerted the worker to the potential hazard and prevented him from putting himself in danger.
Thank you, Kevin, Adrian, and Chad, for your commitment to preventative safety on the job site! And a big thank you to everyone who has submitted SWAT cards in the past months—together, we’re fostering a safer work environment for all.
