Superheat Recognized with Dual Honors at CCS 32nd Annual Awards Celebration

On April 24, 2025, Superheat was proudly recognized at the 32nd Annual Coalition for Construction Safety (CCS) Awards Celebration, held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Indianapolis. Our continued focus on safety excellence was recognized with two significant awards: the Zero Injury Award and the Excellence in Safety Award.

The Zero Injury Award is presented to companies whose craft professionals experienced no recordable work-related injuries during the previous calendar year. This includes incidents resulting in loss of consciousness, restricted work, job transfer, or medical treatment beyond first aid. Achieving zero recordable injuries is a powerful reflection of the effectiveness of our safety protocols and the diligence of our field teams.

Superheat was also named a winner of the Excellence in Safety Award, an elite group recognized as Safety Leaders for their outstanding safety performance and program strength. The award process is rigorous, involving:

  • A comprehensive written submission
  • A panel interview with CCS judges
  • And an unannounced site visit led by CCS Safety Director Gary Martin

Joe Brynda, Midwest – Northeast Safety Manager, attended the ceremony and shared, “These recognitions reflect our team’s dedication to maintaining the highest safety standards, and they show the consistent effort and commitment each team member brings to their daily jobs. Safety isn’t just a goal; it’s the foundation of Superheat. We can’t achieve our goals without every person on the team, from the top to the ones who make it happen in the field, boots on the ground.”

Jamie Cox, Executive Director of Workforce Management & Safety, added, “This milestone is a testament to our culture of accountability, vigilance, and care for one another. It’s not just about policies or procedures – it’s about mindset, teamwork, and looking out for your fellow heat treater. Let’s continue to lead by example, challenge complacency, and uphold the values that have earned this recognition. The work we do is critical, and doing it safely is what sets us apart.”

This is the third consecutive year Superheat has been recognized by CCS for our safety standards and practices. Being named a Safety Leader in 2025 is a meaningful affirmation of our deeply rooted safety culture and the strength of our people, programs, and leadership. We want to thank CCS for this esteemed recognition.

Safety is more than a benchmark; it’s a commitment we renew every day on every job. We are very proud and are grateful to our teams for their focus, discipline, and care that made it possible.
