At Superheat, safety is a shared responsibility that extends beyond our own team. Through our Safe Work Action Team (SWAT) program, employees are encouraged to take initiative in identifying potential risks and ensuring that every job site remains a safe environment for all personnel—ours and others alike.
This month, we’re proud to recognize Art Quezada (left), who was presented with the September SWAT Award by Eddie Rangel (right).
In his latest observation, Art encountered a situation where unauthorized personnel were preparing to move Superheat’s cables to modify a scaffold. Recognizing the serious electrical risk, Art took immediate action: stopping the work, communicating the hazard, and coordinating his crew to safely relocate the cables. His quick response prevented a possible shock hazard and ensured the task was completed safely and efficiently.
Thank you, Art, for your ongoing commitment to safety and leadership in upholding Superheat’s standards across every site!
